In the past 4 years the main protagonists of buildCollective realised several building projects in South Africa and other countries. During their architecture studies at the Technical University of Vienna they could already gain practical experiences in construction process and the cooperation with different participants.

Thereupon followed several teaching assignments at different Universities in Austria passing all different steps from organisation and design to embedment and construction site management with students, local responsible partners and communities.

BuildCollective sees itself as faciliator and activator – stimulating existing potentials and ressources, collaboratively defining aims for a sustainable development with the implementation of a structure.

Specialised knowledge could be acquired through collaborations with organisations in Austria and Southafrica, advanced education, theoretical discours, research and above all practical experiences.

The registred NGO bC works with organisations on the ground concerning long term development of the region.
